Welcome to 2gdiscovers

Our classmate, Ashwini, had been living in Barcelona, Spain, until the end of 2008. We communicated with her using this wiki. She is now back in the United States with us. We hope to continue conversing with her classmates in Spain.
We will explore Barcelona using the pages on the right. This has information that Ashwini has sent to us.

We can post our questions to Ashwini using the Questions and Answers page.
Ashwini and her friends can check out what is happening at Coopertown Elementary, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, USA.
We can add photos and other information to the Coopertown page. Let the fun begin..

Here is our Happy Halloween Message from Coopertown

Hello!
We are the penguins class. We are in second grade in a nice school. Last year we were the monkeys class because we wanted to be funny.
Ashwini is here in Barcelona (Spain) with us having fun and learning Spanish and Catalan.
We went on a field trip to Parc Collserola. Maybe you have seen the pictures.
We would like to teach you words in Catalan:
leopard (cheetah)
dofí (dolphin)
pingüí (penguin)
mico (monkey)
tucà (toucan)
lleó (lion)
Fins aviat!!! (See you soon!!!)

Dear Penguins,
We are very excited to hear from you. We looked at your class picture and see that you have 24 students in class. Do you have a teacher and an assistant? We are wondering who the young man is.
We practiced saying the words that you sent us. We hope Ashwini will help us pronounce the words correctly when she returns.
Does each class in your school have a special name like "Penguins?"
Thanks for writing!
